Master Sword: Continued is a mod where you basically level up different types of skills. These different types of skills are Swordsmanship, Axe Handling, Blunt Arms, Small Arms, Archery, Pole Arms, Martial Arts, and Spell Casting ( I hope i didn't miss any ). There are also many places to explore (Haunted Forests, Deserts, Grasslands, ect.). The mod depends extremely on Cooperative play. The creatures in this game range to Boars, Rats, Orcs, Goblins, and the Undead (Mostly composed of skeletons ). Another special feature is that there's a central database that stores characters throughout all the servers. This only happens on servers marked with the [FN] tag. I hope you consider playing this mod because its really fun!

I remember playing the first one. Never really got into it.
All I can think of is TES II: Daggerfall. Might give it a try.
I used to play this quite a bit - in fact, a fellow facepuncher wrote up an account of his experiences in the game when he ran into me. Unfortunately, that was too long ago, and that thread got archived.
Do yourselves a favour and get/make some friends. You basically get "control" of the server via the mapvotes that way, so you can tackle the dungeons you want when you want, and as stated above, the loot scales up when more players are present. Consider the game to be a co-operative MMO but without the massive player numbers.
And has was stated in the OP, your character is persistent on any server bearing the [FN] tag. Switching servers to be with friends/get away from a certain map and someone who won't stop grinding/etc is perfectly acceptable.
I should probably try playing it again, especially since there's been an update.
Yeah I recommend playing on the [FN] servers if you want to be able to save your character across many servers, and play with friends too, it's alot more enjoyable then.
I really like this mod.Thought i don't have it installed now, it's pretty cool and i have a lvl 10.
I think I have a 3 year old level 35+, if there hasn't been a wipe. :v:
I remember I was a 33 Archer or something, I have really low health since I use daggers and bows only and that makes me even weaker than other players that is lower level than me.
I think I stopped playing around the_wall update or something.

Yeah... getting the good stuff early isn't really fun.
Neither is people joining the game in the middle of an "instance" (Or whatever you want to call them) / people joinin with a group taking over servers.
I thought this was a troll mod based on the title.
I've been getting back to this mod, I forgot how frustrating some maps were, because the main enemies in the levels are harder than the boss itself.
Still, enjoying myself while playing with some friends.

Yeah, it's ace. I've been a member of the community for years and years but I'm not that active any more. It's still being updated (amidst much drama) so I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.
Yeah the community supports each other and most contribute to the game in someway, (maps, voice acting, models) the mod is still adding on and updating.

Well some of the new major features will be 2 new maps, a dodging system, improved dual wielding, and a bunch of other things.
