No need to thank me
I bought the first one and switched to Vista, it still hasn't been patched to work :(
don't buy the PC version of Manhunt if you have Vista. Don't know about Windows 7. I haven't tried it yet.

Oh shit
Thanks for informing.
Actually there is an apparent fix.
Also a lot of reviewers rated it a low score, why's that?
Cause it isn't that good. However manhunt is great. For a stealth game and cause it's really cool look
The Story is not related at all, there is no snuff-film theme going on in part 2. Its more like a psycho-thriller thing. Prety generic story, you escape from an asylum with no memory, assasins try to hunt you down and you constantly fight with your other personality. So all you do is go on a quest for revenge agains the evil secret institution that made you a psycho killer.
The PC version is completely uncensored, but I feel like the graphics have ben tuned down alot, when I compare the texture resolution to the console versions. I was a littel disappointed, since the game didn't really build up much suspence and didn't have really scary parts (like the piggsy boss in manhunt 1) and I kinda missed the pace. It just kept going and then ended. But it was ok for the price, I'd say

This replaces the exe in the manhunt folder. You won't get banned. It doesn't work like that. I very foolishly bought the Manhunt off Steam (and Midnight Club 2, but there's a similar fix) without reading the specs.
Need any help, just contact me.

It's a good game for the PSP. Not so good for everything else. On the PSP it's actually a rather smart game aside from the censoring, but that can be hacked and removed.
The game isn't that fun to play. While I do enjoy those murder sequences, it just isn't fun between those.

Oh cool thanks, that worked!
Manhunt 2 got shit reviews because it was a game that was revolving around violence.
Lots and lots of extremely graphic violence.
Unfortunately, everybody got all buthurt about it and Rockstar was forced to censor the shit out of the game, which led to crappy reviews.
If it wasn't for the executions in the game, it would be a mediocre stealth game with a nice atmosphere and awesome enemies. The executions are what makes this game above average, and as dumb as it may seem, the executions are actually really fun to watch(and even perform on the PC and Wii version, even though it's nicer to turn off the interactive executions).
The first Manhunt is absolutely fantastic, an atmospheric and even innovative game that's extremely fun and disgusting at the same time.
The 2nd one is above average, but it isn't as atmospheric as the first one. It's ten times more violent, though. It's still good fun.
All in all, the PC version is AO, so you should get it, it's really nice and it's completely uncensored, in all of its gory goodness. The first one is still better, though.
Was the other Manhunt 2 thread not good enough for you OP?
