Not that many of you probably care, in January (predicted) the new Battlefield game comes out.
New features:
-More in depth micro-destruction (bullet holes through walls and such).
-Blood (not a major advancement in a game, but not normally seen on Battlefield games).
-More vehicles, rumors suggest jets will be added.
-Larger online battles.
-More detailed destructible environments (complete houses can be destroyed unlike the first one where only the walls could and not he support beams).
Basically just a higher detailed version of Bad Company, with more to do and more realism.

Sorry, I just like Battlefield games. Call of Duty's fun, but the amount of people who think of it as something Godly just sickens me, so I tend to play more realistic Battlefield games.
Anyway, I look forward to it. I've already pre-ordered.
also they cuss alot
Battlefield?
Realism?
Only if you have mods.
I'm not really in the mood to debate this, but look at Call of Duty. The minute you shoot from the sniper rifle the bullet instantly hits the target. Unrealistic at long distances. Battlefield features fairly realistic bullet ballistics. same with destructible environments. Black introduced them in small amounts, but no other game really did it too well before Battlefield.
Regardless I still like to play Call of Duty.

operation flashpoint, man.
I thought it came out in March? But i like the sound of January better:).
Bad Company was amazing at multiplayer, singleplayer was a pretty funny experience.
Maybe it will be 64 players this time? But then again this isn't Battlefield 3.
Man I can't wait for this game to come out. I'm totally going to get some friends to play with me.
Or we can make an FP server.
Well, I'm hoping it's in January, but you know how long it took them to get Battlefield Heroes and Battlefield 1943 out.
I hope it would be 64 players, that would be majorly amazing. The single player campaign is supposedly more serious and dark than the first Bad Company's was.
I hope they added subtitles this time around, I heard that the first one had some funny moments but I couldn't really pick out the sounds. Same goes for Assassin's Creed.

It wont be 64 players, even on the PC if they don't make any more advances to the Frostbite engine.
If they bring prone back it'll be even better...

red faction did it way better than bad company
Yeah, Red Faction did better than Bad Company 1, but 2 is gonna do loads better than red faction.... first person with the same kinda destruction as RF:G
Why does the fact that the game is first person instead of third person make the destruction better?
RF:G has better destruction.
I can't wait for this game, i'm already top rank on Bad Company and i know i'm going to play this one to death. The Black Hawk should make goldrush funner.
It doesn't mean the destruction is better, it just makes it look better, like you're actually there instead of some character standing in the way of it all.... also the destruction on BC2 looks exactly the same as RF:G destruction.
Actually, destruction is better. It adds more realism and element to the game. For many years FPS's have been static and people could easily hide out in buildings and camp. Not anymore.

Like we haven't noticed that for the past decade.
will we have parachutes and prone? :frown:
will we have parachutes and prone? :frown:
I hope so.
will we have parachutes and prone? :frown:
Well they better have! The original BF1942 have prone and parachutes! Come on DICE, you need to bring back those two features
Also it has dedicated servers!
Parachutes were disabled in original BC because people hated how pilots jumped off their aircrafts before dying
Prone was disabled because the snipers were stealthy enough already.

I didn't see a problem with ejecting from the aircraft.\
But yeah, sometimes even a standing sniper is suppa stealth.
Seems like a pretty cool game
I'm waiting for Battlefield 3.
I found out Bad Company had no parachutes the hard way but at least I got an achievement for it lol.

People were crying over a lost kill as they were too butt-fucking retarded to shoot the slowly moving guy.
And I hid in a bush for a entire fucking match (didn't shoot or anything, just recon basically), thanks to the sniper outfit in the first BC.
