I want to make a game using [url]http://love2d.org[/url], I already know how, and would prefer some sort of side-scrolling game. But what!

Nothing yet. I've had one idea myself, not sure about it:
Sidescrolling shooter/puzzle/platformer, standard affair, set in space at 0gravity, with awesome effects and stuff. Kinda like a single-player shattered horizon, in 2D, with a storyline.
Possibly co-op, although I've no idea how possible that is (quite possible, from what I've been told). Anyway, some epic photoshooped planets and stuff for cool backgrounds, with some huge ass explosions and stuff in-game-world. etc etc, you get the idea.
