I just got Crysis today, and it wouldn't activate on steam.
Is it true that Crysis can not be installed on steam through the Serial?

If you buy it from Steam you can use it. But if you bought the disc, no.

Not Valve's fault, it's the publishers/developers.
EA are also useless when it comes to downloading Crysis even if you've got a serial key.

well now you know only valve games can be activated via serial on steam and youre stuck with a copy of crysis you can't install
find a dvd drive somewhere. they're commonplace and dirt cheap
