Cause I stuffed every hero into a corner then picked them out one by one to put them in the right groups.

little shits in the left are heroes i can't play/won't play.
left are fun supports. middle are (mostly) melee dudes that deal a lot of damage and are fun. right are ranged dudes that are fun.
the bigger the icon the more fun i had with them.
the buzzword is fun.

Here's the one I've been using for a while now where it's sorted by roles (dual lane farm dependant, solo lane, support with carry options, support, junglers) [url]http://www.dota2layout.com/index.php?id=pmhn0f913&a=1[/url]
And here's the one I just made. Think of it as a venn diagram where there's three circles. The top left circle is dual lane farm dependant, the top right is solo lane, the bottom is support, and I put junglers off to the right side. For example, characters between the top right circle and the bottom circle (such as shadow demon, shadow shaman, and bane) can play as either a support or a solo lane. As a Russian, I can confirm that this is 90% of picks on russian server. (even though I rarely play on it)
Just finished up this wheel based design. It's the same concept as my venn diagram layout but I think it looks much nicer.
