Yes it´s classic games again. This game is great, the story is well done and the carachters are just great, everyone had his personality. In this paranormal thriller, New York City is stunned by a series of mysterious murders that follow the same pattern: ordinary people become possessed and kill absolute strangers in public. In the video game, the main male character must uncover the supernatural forces behind his crime. You play with difrent characters, the game is very well done. This is a great classic, and has a great cinematic level, this game is very good. I advise this game to all who like good stories and good action scenes. NOSTALGIA I loved this game.
Carla is hot
One of the best stories I've ever experienced in a game.
Oh my god, this game was so awesome. Just brilliant. [editline]03:53PM[/editline] Everyone must try it, the story is excellent.
Aside from the mediocre ending, that is. [editline]f[/editline] And the sneaking scenes in the camps
I kind of wish it hadn't taken a turn towards the paranormal, but the story was excellent, no doubt.
Fantastic game - the first half is definately stronger however. Reminds me a lot of Alpha Protocol. Shame about all the QTEs though =/
Yeah I played it just recently but I was sad to have the cut Indigo Prophecy version, and it was going great until just after the orphanage scene and then it all went to shit, the gameplay, the story, the dialogue, everything. That's why I really want to play Heavy Rain because I heard they fixed it. Also the soundtrack for the black guy is just great. [editline]08:40AM[/editline] ooooh~ Let it crawwlllll
Fahrenheit is awesome. Seriously, if you haven't played the game, you're missing out win. A lot of it. I liked the [sp]Rooftop fight, there was a lot of spinning[/sp]. [img_thumb] http://filesmelt.com/dl/vriskaspin.gif[/img_thumb]
Incredibly underrated. The story and the atmosphere is excellent. I like how you have to move your mouse in the correct direction to open doors (for example). I hated the stealth passages though. Besides, thanks to Fahrenheit I discovered Martina Topley-Bird. A fantastic artist indeed.
What was wrong with the ending?
I just felt the ending really didn't live up to the rest of the story [sp]Main characters have sex then some boss fight and then WE'RE ALL HAPPY THE WORLD IS SAVED[/sp] isn't really the best ending they could have come up with
There are many endings, you know. [sp]When you fail the final battle, cyborgs will rule the world then.[/sp]
[sp]If you fail against the Oracle, the Orange Clan win. If you beat the Oracle, but lose to the AI the Purple Clan win. And if you don't suck and you beat both, you get a nice ending with fields and rainbows and happy[/sp]
I played this when I was younger, I didn't know what to do at the stealth flashback part so I gave up and returned it to Blockbuster. I wanna get it again, though.
...You consider this pile of crap a classic? The story STARTED off great but then it devolved into a nonsensical pile of fuck. Not to mention that the gameplay was just one endless quicktime event.
Another thing that slightly irked me was the in-air battles that looked almost like they were ripped directly from something like The Matrix.
Another thing that slightly irked me was the in-air battles that looked almost like they were ripped directly from something like The Matrix.
They combine very things in this game, The matrix, etc.
Time is moving way too fast if we're calling this "classic" already. Feels like this came out last year to me.
Time is moving way too fast if we're calling this "classic" already. Feels like this came out last year to me.
I agree. I don't want to feel older then I actually am :v:
I've only played this game a smidge, but I definitely loved it. Now to go find the copy my friend gave me before he went off to Boot Camp.
I agree. I don't want to feel older then I actually am :v:
Lol, I put this game in the section of classic games because if I make a new thread with the name of Indigo Prophecy Thread some people would make comments that I was late on time, etc.. So I decided to put this game in the series "Classic Games", for people know instantly what goes on in this thread. There are already wrapping other two threads who died too soon, but this is the third. The other two: Classic Games: Iron Storm = http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=997465 Classic Games: Return To Castle Wolfenstein = http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=997486 More threads coming soon, or not!
I should play this again, last time I quit around the part when [sp]the giant green termites invade your office[/sp]
Such an underrated game, just picked this up and played it a few weeks ago, I've recommended it to all my friends. I actually thought this game was much better then Heavy Rain, but that's just my opinion.
I've played through it twice, I can never get the good ending.
Jesus fuck a bunp. Holy fuck I was an idiot. Dammit I need to play Fahrenheit again.
This game is awesome, even though the second part is... strange. I never got past the [sp]mental hospital[/sp], though, I'm way too scared :ohdear:
This was one of the best games I have ever played until about 3/4's of the way through. The story went to shit.
Yeah the last third/quarter is kind of :what:thefuck
Got stuck at the library part, fuck that part to hell. Still cant find that correct book.
The ending was the silliest shit ever, but I had lots of fun in this game. Heavy Rain is like the super cool version of this.
Got stuck at the library part, fuck that part to hell. Still cant find that correct book.
It's in the black section, if I remember correctly, the right part, 2-3rd floor.
