Gear Up is a multiplayer game by Doctor Entertainment. (You might know them if you've ever played Puzzle Dimension). You play the game as a customizable tank, doing things that tanks would do. You can fit it with different weapons, chassis, wheels (and legs!), and auxiliary items, such as wings. All of these parts are physically simulated. Currently, Gear Up is in alpha, but when it's released, it will ship with a level editor and all of the source content. The editor will allow players to build or modify levels, vehicle parts, challenges, and game modes. Gear Up features its own game engine written from scratch, featuring strangely adorable tanks.
You can sign up for the alpha here.

At the moment, flying tanks have wonky physics. Additionally, disconnecting players comically explode.

Seems interesting enough, I've signed up.
I signed up too.
Hopefully flying won't be retarded in later updates.

It's on greenlight as well. Maybe post a link to it in the op?

I got beta, played 3 min and haven't touched it again.
Not saying it's bad, I didn't think much.

Updated, thanks.
The screenshots alone have me interested, I've signed as well.
Oh cool, I got a key.

I love the idea of physics-based custom tanks\mechs
Oh hell yeah got a key.
Is there any solo mode? Seeing as there probably arent many players...
woa.
So I voted up for this game on Steam Greenlight, and now I got a beta key. I wonder how?
Anyways, it is good.
Menu needs major description tweaks, and Sound button in Options doesn't work.
Oh wow this reminds me alot of Battletanx.
I fucking love it.
Amazingly fun even at such an early stage, definitely going to buy it later on. Does need a bit of work though obviously, watching people use the hover fan wheels is fucking hilarious.
Oh and the art style is amazing.
I got accepted really fast, wow.
ehhh kinda meh right now since there's no real strategy to it or anything.
Also, it's really hard to aim at anything or hit it because the tanks can move almost as fast as the projectiles in a race.
There was an update, here's the twitter update:
First batch of bug fixes are in; mini map and vehicle clipping issues. Secondary weapons are now fired using right mb.
They are also making 70s Future Retro parts.

This reminds me of Think Tanks. Except now this is like futuristic Think Tanks with customization. I am perfectly okay with this!
They also removed the flying feature for the hoover fans and the other thing.
Got into the beta and god damn, haven't been able to play because I can't change the controls. Wasd on an azerty keyboard does not work well.
