Hey guys, just wondering, patch 4.0.6 just came out, all big changes and whatnot, the RDF says i can now queue for heroics. But i don't want to jump into heroics and just bomb everything. So here's my armory: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/magtheridon/vmunkey/simple
I've got about 1800 Justice points at the moment and in a bit i will be replacing my current green headpiece with the one from the vendor.
Your gear is fine for heroics.
as long as your ilvl matches the requirement
As long as you do more than 8k dps (I think?)
are you dps or heals
because your gear is mismatched

dps, how is my gear mismatched?
All the +Spirit gear. It threw me off too, but I remembered that Elemental has a talent that turns all Spirit gained from gear into hit rating.

Yes, yes, yes and i don't think it's a talent either, and even with all the spirit im still missing 5% hit on bosses, then again i haven't played much so it's as if i hit 80 like a week ago.

Elemental Precision, second tier, 3 point talent. Increases your Fire, Frost and Nature damage by 1%/2%/3% and grants you spell hit rating equal to 33%/66%/100% of Spirit gained from items or effects. Shaman is something I know fairly well, I spend enough time puzzling over my Resto Shaman's off-spec and primary rotation.
Haven't bothered trying out 4.0.6, but doing heroics with 329 wasn't THAT hard even before the buff. Now (with 4.0.6) you get the 15%-buff (WOW!) if you go alone, and if you're going with friends/guildies you shouldn't have a problem anyway.
I'd say if your gear has the right stats and you are pretty OK at what you do, you shouldn't worry too much, even if people tend to be bastards towards those with "low" gear.
But that's just my opinion, I guess.
