Soldier of Fortune 2: Where is my gore! - Games

After installing Soldier of Fortune 2, I felt betrayed and obliged to ask the fatal question. Where is my gore, and why can't I see it. After installing with full-gore specifications and starting to play the game, I notice that the amount of gore that I was experiencing with differentiating hugely from what I had been lead to believe it was like in videos and things of a similar nature. I am fairly annoyed with this, because it means I'm allowed to shoot legs off, and heads. But I can't chip away at a guys head, nor can I watch the blood spray after I get them in the throat. So, why is my gore not here, and where is it all. It should be spraying by the bucketload, but it's not. Please help me get the gore that lead me to buy this game to work. Also - there are ragdolls, and the three icons under the padlock are all on "Yes" (Blood/Death Animations/Mutilation) So where is my flipping gore?

Yes, but to no avail. There is mutilation, but the blood does not splurt gratitously. That's spelt wrong.

There is very little blood splatter in SOF2 unless you download a mod. And YES you should be able to chip off pieces of head. Also in what country you bought this game from? There might be some limitations.

You haven't got the german version or some shit have you? I remember it been gory as fuck. I was about 14 though.

When people call a game gory that doesn't necesarily mean that blood splatters everywhere if you poke someone with a knife. It's been a long time since I last played it so I really can't remember much, but you should definately be able to chip away at someones head piece by piece.

I think they improved upon gore and blood in Soldier of Fortune III although that game was basically just an utter failure.

Didn't the game ask you if you wanted to have all, a small amount, or no gore in the game when you installed it?

Yeah, there is mutilation, but there is no match to the amount on videos people showed me. However, if there isn't much blood, anyone know where to get a realistic blood mod?

Have you unlocked the gore in options? You have to enter a password (that you set) somewhere and then you can do all the gory shit.

Yeah, all the passworded stuff is on. And it's the UK/US version of the game, so there shouldn't be any censorship as far as I know. And I thought I mentioned that when it asked for what type of gore that I would like to see upon installation, I told it "full gore"

Where you hit someone in the face with a high caliber PSG sniper rifle, a chunk of the face disappears, exposing the brain maybe, or even takes off half the head, All I remember about the third is the usual arms and or legs coming off

Man, I miss that game. Used to be the shit about 5 years ago when it had a really active fanbase. Then BF2 came out and pretty much killed it.
