I know its a little bit late but we are still September 11th.
Ive got the idea to build up the Wtc yesterday. I am playing in a Legit server so i cant use cheated/spawned materials and i wanted to build it in the server so everyone can see it
It is not the best but I really wanted it done today. My first plan was to build it up to the sky limit and making it around 40x40.
I only made one tower because of the lack of time, I got the idea yesterday and the tower is made entirely legit, there is no cheated/Spawned Items so it take time to gather the stuff
Its on a Role playing server

16080 Stone Slab (half) ... 8280 For every vertical Column and 7800 for every 17 stories ceiling
2704 Wooden plank for every Floors
73 Iron block for Stairwell
1216 Stone bricks
2440 glass for every Windows
972 Black wool for every floors

It looks nice, but it's made from very plane materials.
now rig it with tnt and it will be the twin tower on demolition day 9/11
This is just plane horrible...

There's such a thing as creative mode, you know.
What a waste of stone.
If you are going to make 9/11 at least put the plane and some tnt there. Plus there were 2 towers.

Its a Legit Roleplaying server... No cheat.. if i had creative and world edit i would create a Giant one almost the same size at it is really ( 255 max high )

I had to use over 10'000 legit blocks ... Stone materials are easier to get than Iron block and its grey
funny thing is thats nowhere near as tall
like less than half of it

Why not create a single player map and build the tribute then? If this was made by a lot of people on the server I can see it being a nice tribute within the server since it was a group project. But all we see is a small single tower, instead of two large towers.
Also stone slabs and stone bricks are made of stone, if you haven't noticed.

Cant build the 1:1 size on Minecraft
To be honest, I see not much of a resemblance to either of the twin towers. It just looks like a standard building to me.

Sure it would be a good idea .. i just wanted to build something on the server and showing it up to everyone later
Like i said i had the idea Yesterday so i wanted to make a legit one on the server then "maybe" im gonna build a Large one
2 Sure i know its made of stone .. but the WTC Outer wall are Grey and its the only material i has that is grey.. It was the fastest way for me to complete it today

The resemblance is on a vertical exoskeleton frame and a squarish sized tower..
Sry if you expected something better..
