I'm really wanting to get counter strike soon and was wondering how big the download is from steam? I want to know because I have crap broadband where I live.
Ooh, cripes. I think CS:S is around the 2,400mb mark, and the original CS will probably be a fair bit smaller.

Took me like 20 minutes to download it and I'd know, I just reinstalled it today!
I have a 50kbs download rate and 20 gig limit so thats a lot and thats the best I can et for £25 a month. I think I'm going to download it tho.
Just look at the game information in the store. Easy as that.
I usually get around 1 mb/s (If I'm lucky). I used to get faster but then I just HAD to switch to a different company. Verizon was awesome, used to have 2 ping in every multiplayer game. NEVER GET COX, switched to them, now I get around 120 ping.
