Well, here you have it. I'm a little bored and a little bit gore-thirsty (not that I am psychopathic or anything like that). While I probably won't play it, as I am squeamish like that, I would like to know what, in your opinion, is the goriest game of all time.
I've heard it's FEAR 2: Project Origin, I'm not so sure.

No game has ever taken advantage of the GHOUL gore system in that game, it's a shame really... made combat that much more satisfying.
Example: firing a shotgun into someone's stomach would cause their guts to spill out and they would scream in agony while trying to hold it all in as you blow their head off afterwards.

Yeah SoF 1 was gory, SoF2 was even more gory.
Manhunt 2 AO is bloody. But its more just plain brutal.
Left 4 dead 2 has some satisfying gore. (blowing a hole in someones head)

I don't think it's Fallout 3 - I have gorier experiences in real life than Gears 1 & 2. Manhunt 2 is a possibility, however, it was censored until the new release that is coming soon uncensored.

Sorry, but Soldier of Fortune 2 takes the cake here. Per Pixel Damage beats everything else, I liked chunks of flesh flying off, not from a pre-determined spot, but from where I shot someone, and the detailed dismemberment. You could take your knife and cut to someone's Skull, then brain, like wise with their organs

Also, did you know that you can shoot the weapon off an enemy in SoF1?
