I started this modpack a while back, and found it so confusing. So when I was a bit more experienced I decided to make this video, teaching you how to get started. Part 1 Please leave a like! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhwwIMGDjlc&list=UUeEJcXrRQJZefYFME15kIyA&index=2&feature=plcp Part 2 Please leave a like! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqQC6PZyOns&list=UUeEJcXrRQJZefYFME15kIyA&index=1&feature=plcp Part 3 Please leave a like! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxiY2bkbLd4&list=UUeEJcXrRQJZefYFME15kIyA&index=1&feature=plcp Part 4 Please leave a like! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qk8wTCnggU Part 5 Please leave a like - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhWtJHfQMXI
That stuff about rubies was useful, thanks.
Thank you so much for this.
That stuff about rubies was useful, thanks.
No problem!
Thank you so much for this.
Glad I could help.
Thanks a lot for this man, I've been putting off getting this mod because I've no idea what to do or how to work anything but this helps a ton. Thank you

I also made a quarry tutorial, just showing you how to make and set up a basic quarry.
Would it be okay if I asked you technic pack questions in this thread?
Would it be okay if I asked you technic pack questions in this thread?
Of course!
I also just finished uploading part two.
When you need to go to the nether or use obsidian near the start of this tutorial, you should use RP2 block breakers to get it. Don't waste the three diamonds on a pick and things will go a lot faster. The first ~5 diamonds of Tekkit are the hardest...
Or use tin cells, like I did. I have yet to make a pick better than iron, outside of building a quarry.
Can you make lava cells into obsidian without mining them?
Can you make lava cells into obsidian without mining them?
You can craft two water cells and two lava cells into one obsidian block. Helpful if you don't want to "waste" diamonds.
Learn something new every day. EE is sort of based on the idea that you need diamonds to get into the nether, so you can take advantage of the fact that you really don't. You can get glowstone before a diamond pick and make a pstone/transmutation tablet as soon as possible. After that diamonds come easy. More tips: -Planting large jungle trees and then destruction catalysting them from beneath is a pretty fast way of getting emc for early players. Find a plains biome and go crazy. This can rival mining with a divining rod and its a lot safer. -Using a redstone engine or transposer to take stuff out of your extractor will save a lot of time when making overclockers. Do this as soon as you can. -If you want to whore yourself out, there will be people that have more diamonds than they know what to do with (if EE is enabled). Just ask someone if you can have some rm and a transtablet and skip everything. Don't blame me if you find Tekkit boring after this.
you can create a nether portal with nothing but a bucket.
Very useful.
Is there any way to get bone meal in Peaceful? Or better yet, is there any way to disable the explosive destruction of creepers (so they still do damage, they just don't destroy blocks) ? That's the only thing that's kept me from anything other than peaceful this whole time.
you can create a nether portal with nothing but a bucket.
But you cant get obsidian that way. That's the point of the lava cell/block breaker tip. You need it to make a transmutation tablet.

Thank you so much for skipping all the unimportant parts of your tutorial. I hate having to sit through 20 minutes of people doing absolutely nothing important and just making awkward conversation.
there is one way with EE, but it requires you to craft an alchemical tome which costs one billion EMC.
It just so happens that I have an excess of EMC at the moment, could you elaborate on this?
It just so happens that I have an excess of EMC at the moment, could you elaborate on this?
http://equivalentexchange.wikispaces.com/Alchemical+Tome This explains how that tome works, and how to make it. A bit expensive, but not a billion EMC.
Not 1 billion, but it is equal to 18,644 diamonds. Just play on easy for five seconds to get a bone and then condense it a lot. Technic should get a peaceful pack mod. With fossils and such.
What happens if I let an Energy Collector or Antimatter Relay fill up with EMC? The wikis are lacking on the subject.
What happens if I let an Energy Collector or Antimatter Relay fill up with EMC? The wikis are lacking on the subject.
If they fill up then they stop generating EMC. Nothing else.
I request a tutorial for nuclear reactors.
Soccerskyman, I shall make one soon just for you! Thanks for the feedback.
Added part 3, hope you all enjoy!
