This man named Roman Yavorsky has been working on a project known as The East Accident, a film based on the Half-Life saga. It takes place one year after the Black Mesa incident. It's pretty much 100% CGI but it still looks pretty good in my opinion.
Holy fucking shit. even though it's CGI it looks awesome. Sounds a lot like the district 9 trailer towards the start, which makes it even more awesome.
Didn't this man make the "What's in the box?" video? And that brings another idea to my mind, it must quite obviously have been a viral for this film in that case.
1:03 Lost Easter egg, the Dharma logo. :eng101:
I'd like to know about that phone. Isn't it 1998?

At the start you can see it was "based on half life, lost and whats in the box".
I'd like to know about that phone. Isn't it 1998?
HL1 was set in "200X". Maybe we invent those things this year :v:
:aaaaa:
So that's what was in the box.
So that's what was in the box.
It has nothing to do with that short film.
I hope this is a real movie, and not just a trailer that never goes any further than that...
Hmm... Reminds me of that What's In The Box ARG from a few years ago... And, let's remember, Babel used the Black Mesa logo too. The first person view also looks similar, looks like it's using the CBI from that old ARG... You sure these aren't connected? EDIT: Ah! Yep! Look at the beginning of the video. Sponsored by Black Mesa, Aperture Science, Babel Research, and some other company. It's totally related.
I'd fap to dat
HL1 was set in "200X". Maybe we invent those things this year :v:
It's 2010, btw.
Always wondered as to what that What's In The Box video was about. Thought the author of this one said he borrowed the elements, so it's seperate.
what the hell, is that guy really 16?
to jumpy
This looks cewl.
I hope its in English too! Also WOW! That sounded epic in Dolby digital 7.1!
1:03 Lost Easter egg, the Dharma logo. :eng101:
I think its for white forest Considering the white forest logo was an easter egg, but it isn't the Dharma sign.
Anyone else got goosebumps :3::3:
Yesh. :3:
Those are the most real-looking humans I've ever seen. Reminds me of that City 17 short-series.
Looks awesome.
Omg i have that phone!!!! Well not with the 3d shit but :V
:v:
Those are the most real-looking humans I've ever seen. Reminds me of that City 17 short-series.
Because they are real. The landscape they film on is real, lots and lots of CGI is added.
HL1 was set in "200X". Maybe we invent those things this year :v:
And then later the time line was actually found to coincide with GLaDOS overrunning the enrichment centre, the resonance cascade happening a few days after. And that was in 1997.
I hope Valve mentions this in a blog or something. This guy deserves it.
There is something wrong On the digital billboard, it has Black Mesa and Apreture science logos. Don't they rival each other? So why would they both be part of something?
