As you may or may not know, it's getting a remake, which was supposed to come out the 18th of September. the release date got pushed back to November, though, so if you want to preorder, this is your chance! [B]What is it?[/B] It's not exactly a remake, but more of an update. The original Baldur's Gate is being polished, updated for modern rigs, and getting retooled. Loads of bugs are being fixed, new content is added and some content or mechanics that were introduced in BG2 are getting rolled back into BG1. i have the original but i dont think i will buy this one it just isn't worth ~20 dollars when you already own the games, you know.

The improvements are going to remove a lot of the pain in the ass with modding and tooling around with resolutions and so on.

Yeah. They're kinda blocking off sales by only offering it on their own digital client that no one knows of at all.

Doesn't matter that much. At least they aren't ripping Europeans off by selling 19,99 dollars as 19,99 euros.
