Video game awards 2009 - Games

Spike TV's VGA has started! Vote for your favorite game in 28 different catagories and there's 4 or 5 nominees per catagory. Some of those categories were pretty dumb, like best movie game and best downloadable game. Anyway I also voted for DA:O over Borderlands because Borderlands is its own thing, not just a pure RPG.

Gave L4D2 lots of credit. Gave Uncharted 2, and Rock band quite a bit as well.

I can't give a vote to a company who shat on the PC. Valve has never shat on the PC community, they deserve GOTY.

seems like a small and quite biased list to me.

I think overall, Dragon Age: Origins would be much more valid game of the year nominee than some of those other games, like Modern Warfare 2. If it wasn't for the length of MW2, perhaps if the campaign was maybe double or triple the time, it would have been much better. Seriously, I beat the game in one evening, that deserves a game of the year?

ridiculous how assassins creed 2, left 4 dead 2, and modern warfare 2 are nominated for game of the year yet they haven't even been out that long. voted arkham asylum.
