I'm a pretty big fan boy when it comes to Valve, but I gotta say Left 4 Dead 2 this time because it's just amazingly awesome. and I thought I get bored with it in a week like I did with L4D1, the exact same opposite happened, I'm fucking addicted to that shit.
Modern Warfare is up there too, but I gotta put my money on L4D2

MW2 is far from authentic, it's a blockbuster actionmovie-inspired game.
It's called Battlefield: Bad Company, there's no 2 in the name. BF:BC came out last year, and BF:BC2 is out March '10.

Modern Warfare II, yes, it may be quite hyped and overrated, but still, living all said shit aside, it's an incredibly fun game.
