Heyo, I got the collecters edition from gamestop today used, for 40$, However it says I get this exclusive armor, but I can't seem to find a code for it or anything. Do I use the Cerberus Network card? And can I even use that?
If you can't find the code anywhere, the previous owner probably used it already. The code isn't renewable.
If it's used I think you just got ripped off, the Cerberus Card is linked to an account (atleast on the PC it is)
Sorry man :saddowns:
The code is single use, seeing as you got it used you can't get the armour. Sorry.

Ahhh... shit. How important is it the cerberus network card?
Because I just got bullshitted.

At least I got a cool looking box...
:saddowns:
You bought the game used. You got a deal. Be happy? :D

Yes, but I bought it thinking I was getting cool stuff. Which I did not.
However, it's still ME2, so I've got some space women to sleep with, and reporters who need facepunchings.
How could you have possibly not concluded that the previous owner would use the codes?
Didn't Dragon Age: Origins come with a code for ME2? I think I have my code somewhere around here..

Dragon Age had some code for like Knight armor or something. I don't especially know.

by any weird chance, is they're anyone who has a code like this... that they're not going to use?
:saddowns:
Shit. I found the code and yes, it is for the Blood Dragon Armor for ME2 but it expired April 30. Sorry.

Thanks anyway.
I will still enjoy Mass Effect 2, but I will remain sorta pissy.
It's EA's way to try to cut out used games sales (because they don't see that money, I think).
But yeah don't buy used EA games. Gamestop should really notify you of those things though
I never used the DLC armors or weapons all that much, you really aren't missing anything of value.

When gamestop/eb/gamesman etc sell pre-owned games they make a full profit, not much profit from brand new games.
Nope, how would they know if the code, if suppied when the guy/girl pawned it in, was un-used or not? If they had tried to check if it was still un-used then they could accidentally activate it right there and then. They could notify you, but not everyone would have the knowledge of DRM/DLC/etc that comes with games too.
This sounds a bit mean, and I do apologize if you take offence DANKA, but upgrade your common sense and learn from this experience. You'll know better next time when you get a 2009+ pre-owned game.
The Armor sucks and is not important and the guns are eh. But signing up to the Cerberus Network gives you Zaheed (A playable character with loyalty missions) for free, plus all the Firewalker missions, and other crappy armors without spending Microsoft points.
Although you still have to pay for the thief chick.
