Hey guys, want to buy Assassins Creed II but I can't seem to find a site that sells it for cheap. By cheap, I mean £30 or so.
Amazon, EBay and Play are all selling it for around £39.99 which is still too much for me, because I want to buy L4D2 and Dragon Age: Origins. These are all for the Xbox 360, by the way.
If anyone knows of any good, cheap UK game selling sites, i'd greatly appreciate the help.
Also, like I said, i'm not a cheap-skate, I just won't be able to buy the other two games if it's £39.99 for ACII.
It's brand new, and only out for consoles - how could it possibly be cheap?

Console versions are always £10 more.
It's as if they bend their knees and look the other way when they make PC games cheaper. It's as if it's an incentive for pirates to buy it rather than pirating. Stupid.

No, it's because there's an extra cost that goes to Microsoft/Sony on consoles.
That extra on PC would be unfounded.
Have you considered buying one now, playing it to death and then getting the next one and repeat, in the time the game takes you can save more money.

Also, why must they pay a fee to Microsoft (Xbox versions) and they don't have to pay Microsoft on the PC versions?
Because Microsoft doesn't own the PC, a PC is a personal computer with selectable parts made by different people and can be put together by anyone and sold by anyone. An Xbox is parts selected by Microsoft and put together by Microsoft, the core software is always by Microsoft and the games have to be approved by Microsoft, the lot is then sold to wholesalers/retailers by Microsoft.
I meant buy game 1, play all of game 1 while earning more money from a job or pocket money or whatever, once you have the money for game 2 and are finished with game 1, buy game 2 and so on.
You [I]could[/I] sell the previous game but that's always a shame to lose a game and even then, in this day and age it can be hard to resell.

He's on about buying L4D2 or DA:O and while in the time that you spend playing those, you'll be able to save up for AC2 (or whichever game you least want to get first)
