I started as Great Britian, immediatly sending my first gentleman into a duel.
Turns out i sent Isaac Newton to his death.
Whats worse it is showed me the cinematic where your gentleman runs for it yet gets shot anyway.
Well, there goes gravity.
I just did the christian nation a huge favour.
Gravity still belongs to gods secrets.
Was this really thread worthy?

Yes, gravity is a serious matter.
Then some other smartass probably from France or Sweden would do what Isaac Newton did.
I wish I could play this game still. For some reason, recently it has started closing to the desktop every time I launch it. The only fix I can find is for x32 OS only.
I started WW1 as Prussia.
In 1721, Prussia (I took over Poland, Austria, Norway, Italy, and was at war with Russia.) and England were allied, France, Spain, their minor allies, North Africa etc... declared war on us.
Europe was in war for 20 years, leaving England and Prussia victorious. Spain's only territory left was in America, England lost their hold in America, Prussia conquered Russia and France, making the 3rd Reich a bit early.

Clearly, he doesn't understand the gravity of the situation. :smug:

What game is this? Unless it's a mod for Empire: Total War...
Empire: Total War.
Vanilla, no mods.

I was going to say that.
I wish they would expand their timelines untill the invention of the minie ball.
This reminds me, what ever happened to the Multiplayer Campaign they were working on?

Apparantly it has been written off. I'm not surprised; CA seem to like promising lots but in reality deliver little.
I used to like CA, back when ETW was first released, and was prepared to overlook the flawed gameplay because I knew that they would fix it. It took ages, and after many patches the game is just about fixed but could be much more improved. However, CA said they had finished with ETW and they started working on DLC and the expansion, leaving vanilla players out in the cold with no promised multiplayer campaign (something they promised prior to release; so when people bought the game they expected to get this. Now it seems they have been fobbed off).
Another thing that annoys me is that I have the menu screen for the new DLC pack even though I don't own it. It seems this is some sort of in-game marketing ploy and it is quite annoying.
Last update I saw for the expansion was in June, apparently they are still working on it, I hope.
