Okay, so I tried using this guys tutorial: To make my friends spray transparent, but it ended up like this: I need some serious help with this.
I didn't watch it. It shouldn't take 3 minutes to make a transparent spray If you are using Photoshop, just get the .vtf plugin. It makes life way easier
I can't seem to find the download for it.
Google "photoshop .vtf plugin". It works with most versions of photoshop (except CS4 extended x64, argh!).
What about CS4 extended I think x32? [editline]01:44PM[/editline] Okay, I finally found a working tutorial: http://www.online-photoshoptutorials.com/2007/05/creating-transparent-counter-strike_15.html Even the slightest difference can fuck it up.
Weird spray :downs:
Weird spray :downs:
The anime spray for my friend? Kinda agree, but he wanted it.
The anime spray for my friend? Kinda agree, but he wanted it.
Suuuure...
Suuuure...
What.
What about CS4 extended I think x32?
Yeah, it does. My copy of x32 doesn't seem to work on my copy of Vista x64, which is really freaking annoying. I used to do a lot of texture work but I can't because it just crashes instantly.
Use VTFEdit.
Google "photoshop .vtf plugin". I only want to run the x86 version. [editline]02:32PM[/editline]
The anime spray for my friend? Kinda agree, but he wanted it.
Says the person with the anime avatar.
Upload the png somewhere and give it to me
On the subject of this, does anyone know how I can just tell the x64 version to piss off and stop opening? I only want to run the x86 version.
My version of Photoshop has the x86-32 version named "Adobe Photoshop CS4", and the x64 version labelled "Abode Photoshop CS4 (x86)", not sure if it's like that for the previous versions though.
Says the person with the anime avatar.
I just don't like his anime spray.
Upload the png somewhere and give it to me
Worked the spray out, although I tried the same method for an avatar here, but failed and just turned gray where it should be transparent.
says the person with the anime avatar.
:downs: EDIT: also, why not just use gimp like all the other poor people and just remove the alpha channel without worrying about all this?
Google "photoshop .vtf plugin". [editline]06:33PM[/editline]
:downs: EDIT: also, why not just use gimp like all the other poor people and just remove the alpha channel without worrying about all this?
I know nothing about gimp, nor do I have it.
I can't seem to find the download for it.
GIMP is a freeware Image manipulating program and it can export to VTF out of the box. Even if you don't want to learn how to use it you can still save your image in photo shop and export it via gimp.

I use SprayR
