Yo cra0kalo here, Now before I say something, dont flame rage troll watever this is for people who want to. Cause people are like "DUDE THIS IS STUPID" anyway here it is How to run 2 accounts at the same time on windows with no virtual machine. Step 1. Locate the directory where you installed steam in. Usually this is "C:\Program Files\Steam" or "C:\Valve" 2.. Copy Steam.exe and Steam.dll not CUT!! COPY!! 3. Make a new folder somewhere SEPARATE from the steam folder (for me, I use C:\steam2) Paste the
Steam.exe Steam.dll
in to the folder you made 4. Exit steam if running, tskill steam.exe Now click on the new steam.exe in the folder you made Let it download the files. Once you see the login box login to one account. Once your in steam and you can see your friends list and so logout. 5. Download this http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?DownloadSandboxie Run this and go 6. broswer to your new steam.exe that you made the one you copied over.
C:/Steam2/steam.exe
in my case Bang you get a login box login into 1 of your accounts then open ur real steam and login to other :) HOPE THIS HELPED YOU, FINALLY FOR ALL YOU PEOPLE THAT HAVE LIKE 12 ACCOUNTS CAUSE of a reason you can login
HOPE THIS HELPED YOU, FINALLY FOR ALL YOU PEOPLE THAT HAVE LIKE 12 ACCOUNTS CAUSE of a reason you can login
I'd never be able to have more than one, I know 12 is an exaggeration but I do know people with at least 3. Sometimes it's not their fault, sometimes it is. (VAC ban, etc.) But anyways, thanks for the info, it'll come in handy.

There really is not much use for this, except I guess for scammers. Maybe.
Useless thread, stupid OP. And everything was in order on Facepunch.
1: Download Sandboxie: www.Sandboxie.com 2: Open Sandboxie, click Sandbox->Create New Sandbox (name it SteamAlt or something) 3: Copy your entire Steam directory (selectively copy only TF2 related files from SteamApps to save space), and place it in a new folder somewhere 4: Sandbox->SteamAlt->Sandbox Settings: - Restrictions->Drop Rights->UNtick 'Drop rights from Administrators and Power Users groups' - Resource Access->File Access->Direct Access: -> Add Program (Steam.exe) -> Add directory for Steam.exe, pointing to your copy of the Steam directory (best not to use the original Steam install, in case it conflicts with other running copies) 5: Sandbox->SteamAlt->Run Sandboxed->Run Windows Explorer 6: In Sandboxed explorer, navigate to copied Steam directory and run Steam.exe 7: You can now sign in to whatever account you like, even if Steam is already open, and can load TF2. OP needs to know his shit before posting.
it won't load tf2, tf2 is too big.
It can run multiple instances of TF2, I can personally vouch for this. Just that your computer might explode in the process, unless you're using textmode.
Seems useful only if you are stupid and get vac banned
I use Sandboxie all the time. This is old. [editline]23rd January 2011[/editline]
It can run multiple instances of TF2, I can personally vouch for this. [editline]23rd January 2011[/editline] Basically the only use of this method is trading from an alt to your regular account.
I use Sandboxie all the time. This is old.
If YOU used it all the time, it doesn't mean it's old for everyone. Also, why did I read the entire OP with Little Jakob's voice. (A character from GTA IV). :ohdear:
I just got CS Source split screen running with 2 steam accounts. 1 has 360 controller other has K+B.
one of my friends literally every month "died" on steam and made a new account and spammed you to add him via skype, facebook, etc. and he always bought these games with some variation: modern warfare 2, counterstrike- source, counter strike 1.6. he somehow got about 100 hours of each game before killing the account.
