I'm a beta tester for this and I personally think that they're making great progress with refining this mod as a whole.

Well there is the public beta that was released, and that was pretty bad.
Well there is this closed beta too and it's pretty good.
I remember the fingers fucked up on the models in the public beta. I assume they fixed that for the newer models?

The messed up part is that they manage to make it [b][I]fun[/I][/b] to never be able to move forward an inch as a result of machine gun emplacements and artillery!

i remember retexturing the gasmask so it was a crosshair = i always noscope headshotted
The lead dev on this mod tried to sue me because i didnt use his hud in ivans, and then tried to sue me for slander because i talked about him on facepunch. there's my story.
I remember the time when we were dicking around on a facepunch server, spamming CHAARGE and using only WW1 tactics for the gameplay. :v:

I did that once on a server, it was funny because all the guys on one side would charge and they'd just mow us down with machine guns.
"The best WW1 game" doesn't make it sound exciting.

Not that it's not good, since I have not played it.

There weren't intense battles in it.
WWI sucked so much there's even a poem about how much it sucked:

there were decent battles in ww1, as long as it doesn't involve british soldiers as they literally walked across the battlefield. There were battles for hills and such, for gun emplacements and things that were more 'tactical' to achieve and more exciting than the typical trench warfare that you see, on the eastern front there were no trenches at all.. I think the mod could do a better job of that
I have the mod, whenever I go looking for a game, no one is ever on.
The mod has gotten better since the first release version but it is still rather bad. They need more maps/better maps.

I usually find 4-7 people online every now and then, more if there is a realism.
