Fear 3 fettel trailer - Games

First of all, that live action looks terrible. As far as the game goes, this looks like it will be worse than FEAR 2. Playing as/alongside Fettel? Really? He's supposed to be scary, and they killed it. I stayed away from FEAR 2 after the demo, and I'll stay away from this one.

Oh look fear 3 isn't scary Oh wait that's how fear always was Honestly the gunplay and things involving it are the good things about fear not the horror, the horror was one of the most pathetic attempts at horror in a game I've seen in ages

F.E.A.R on the other hand was pretty freaky, the atmosphere they created and the jumpy bits, but not true horror I admit.

FEAR 2 was really consolized (ugh, that HUD) and FEAR 3 looks to continue that way. I mean, bearded, grizzled Point Man? What is this, MW2?

At the very moment I am not interested, even FEAR 2 had this annoying scare-less plasticy feel to it.

FEAR 2 was a pretty well polished game with an immersive environment. Scary? Not quite. EDIT: It's like Disney World compared to Penumbra.

Gunplay is satisfying, but horror is not.

This is a real trailer? Wow the live action stuff is like a semi-decent fan movie thing. I might buy this regardless. I greatly enjoyed the gunplay and level design in FEAR 2 (the apocalyptic city scene was amazing) although it wasn't scary in the slightest.

Scary or Not! I'm gonna play F.E.A.R 3, cause Co-Op! and i can go into bots and control em and telekinesis and crap. Anyway Pointman looks like a Hobo, Max Payne looks like a Complete Piece of Shit and a Hobo, Sam Fisher looked like a hobo but THANK GOD they changed it and if Desmond from Assassin's creed will look like a hobo in AC3,I'm gonna fucking kill whoever is making those Character designs! Also Soap look like a Indian, that's okay... But i HATE HIS MOHAWK. Anyway Pointman! he was the best: he never spoke or showed his face that was sweet. well too bad i guess i wish people stop making hero's look like hobos( OH GOD PLZ PLZ!! DON'T MAKE GORDON FREEMAN A HOBO!)

The scares weren't even frequent, there were maybe one or two per level, which made you fearful of when the next one was coming.

It probably uses open source sounds that Valve uses in most of their games.

F.E.A.R was the only good one out of the series. Seriously game was simply fantastic. It was actually mildly scary too.

I liked both 1 and 2, but this live action looks plain old silly.

I remember the nurse from the first game, goddamn nightmare fuel. Another part got me and a friend, can't remember where it was but we were in his basement at like 2 in the morning, we walked into a room and grabbed some ammo, lights went off (in game, they were always off IRL as we were trying to get scared), and when they came back on it was like some kind of unnatural rave party of the damned, shit scared me so bad I couldn't stop talking for awhile to calm myself

Point Man looks like he hopped out of LotR. Seriously, Point Man and Paxton fighting TOGETHER? Fuck no. Point Man is UNMASKED? in my FEAR? It's NOT more likely than I think, and even less likely to buy this. Though this is just a trailer, can't judge a book by it's front cover.
