• Bohemia Interactive's Anti-Cheat System is Shit

For all of you who don't know who Bohemia Interactive is, Bohemia is a company that created the very realistic Military Simulator, ARMA 2. ArmA 2: Combined Operations is mainly purchased due to the release of the mod for ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead, DayZ. Basically, the anti-cheat system for DayZ is complete SHIT. Yes, it is worse than VAC (no offense VAC). Back during the update of 1.2.7.4 of DayZ, numerous amounts of players were being Globally Banned (permabanned from all DayZ servers, except Non-BattlEye, I'll get to BattlEye later) from all online DayZ servers, for no apparent reason. CD Keys were being stolen, random Global Bans were being sent out for convicted "hacking". The only way to enable yourself to play on these DayZ servers again was to purchase another ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead CD Key (Around $20) I was one of those players that was randomly Global Banned. It was a while until they released the update of 1.2.7.5, where (in my theory) they completely wiped the ban list, but added a twist to it. In the 1.2.7.5 update, they completely changed the BattlEye Anti-Cheat System. Before update 1.2.7.5, players were allowed to create servers in offline mode (allowing players to hack without the worries of being Globally Banned) but in 1.2.7.5, they made the BattlEye System, to where players could still host offline servers, yet no one could join them, not even the hosts, completely making hacking on DayZ virtually impossible. Now you're thinking, "Why don't they just use bypasses to use hacks online?" Well in the 1.2.7.5 update, the coding of the Anti-Cheat System was so complicated to read, that no one bothered to create a bypass for 1.2.7.5. And from that point on (based of surveys I have taken) BattlEye Anti-Cheat System is considered one of the most hated Anti-Cheat Systems yet. But I haven't surveyed you yet. Which Anti-Cheat system do you think is worse, BattlEye (based off of what you just read), or VAC (Anti-Cheat System used for all servers hosted on VALVe games). There is also some good news to this story. Bohemia Interactive is releasing ArmA 3, and the good thing about it is, they have completely removed all Anti-Cheat Systems from the game, leaving hackers to roam the servers of ArmA 3 like free men, which in some cases can be a good thing, or a bad thing.
You're a little late on the uptake, but yes. Their anticheat system sucks shit through a crazy straw I personally don't think VAC or Battleeye are amazing anticheat systems. VAC is slightly better. VAC does a better job at catching idiots.
