Every time I try to play online, a box appears that says my CD key is invalid. I bought it off Steam so no key came with it. Anyone else encountered this, or know how to help me?
You should have had a CD Key given in a box in the corner when you purchased it.

After you type in you details and check them? I didn't see one. Can I view it in the game files?
Go to your Games menu and right-click on Battlefield 2. You should see an option for "View Game CD-Key". That's how you can find out your key, but I'm not sure if you'll be able to do anything with it. I know there are fixes for this problem, but I don't know them off the top of my head. A Google search for "Battlefield 2 Invalid CD-Key Fix" should help you find a solution.

I saw that is was pretty widespread, so I hope it's fixed soon. I'll have another look around. Thanks.
Does the Steam version actually come with a CD key? I right click it in my games list, and there's no 'view cd key' or anything like that.
All this usually means is some faggot out there used a keygen and got yours. I had it happen on FL:FoW.
So what should I do? Contact Steam Support? I haven't recieved any key, or get any request for one after it installed.
Do you get a CD key with the Steam version of BF2? I can't find it anywhere.
I'd think you would. Try contacting Steam Support, they're generally helpful.
