So i'm really not into paying for WoW, Even though back when I did I truly loved it, I was wondering if there is a very populated private, with blizzard rates, and pvp. I'm also wondering if I should just pay.

almost every regular poster in this section doesnt like private servers
i don't mind them, i go on a small one with gm powers to fuck around or test out other classes, on top of playing retail

its incredibly easy you can find a tutorial on youtube and have it done in like 15 mins
Not if you want working dungeons, quests etc.
Marla just does it so he can test stuff, do machinima etc.
And because he is horribly bored. You can setup a super crappy server in 5 minutes with the tutorials online, most repacks have shit in them though, this shocks some people but most repacks have some kind of spyware implemented. Setting it up yourself takes some more time, but it's way safer. If you are thinking of making one, set it up yourself.

You can compile it in like 5 minutes. Not only that, downloading the core files is faster then downloading a repack.
The repacks from ac-web don't have spyware. If they did, the user who posted it would get banned and such.
They're pretty big nazis about it.

Yeah, but the 'good' stuff like importing databases usually takes a bit more time, depending on what database you use.
I heard blizzard have some pretty good private servers, you have to pay for them though.
And they are for conventions and/or events only. :>
P.sure he was making fun of the OP and was referring to the live servers.
