It is basically the same game just single player and on your PC. It contains the same rules and such except a few minor flaws. And a few changes to make it work for one player.

There is another version of Alien Assault called Space Hulk that has the original missions from the table top game. Though, there is a good chance to get your ass kicked in it. AA is a bit easier then SH.
I remember playing table top space hulk, along with space crusade.
How is this late? They just updated it recently...
I made a thread about this in GD a few months ago.
It's still great though, but Space Hulk in real life with real friends is just immense.

Yea a thread about the tabletop version.
This is a PC Game version. And it isn't Space Hulk anymore.
