How in the Sunwells name do I get liek....5k gold at 70? - Games

Yeah, title explains it. The reason I need dis gold is my epic flying and i'm NOT going to buy any. I have friends but I'd doubt they would help me. My idea is. 1. Level up and SAVE everything you can get. (Trying to do it.) 2. Stay away from the Auction House...any tips on how too? 3. Dailys at 70??!? WUT?

Stay away from auction house? What is this! I made around 5000 gold, for farming 4 hours. All by the auction house. I got like 9700g in total now. :smug:

when i level a new toon to 80 i end up with about 8k by the end of it just by sellin junk

1. Just level up and don't buy anything. (You shouldn't need to buy anything.) 2. You don't HAVE to get epic flying at 70.

i didnt get epic flying till 85, to makme money at 70, do shattered sun, and sketis dailys. yourll get a cool mount to.

Leveling from 70-80 gave me like 5k-ish gold

Inscription + Auction House if you don't want to do any buying/reselling at all.

You should be able to make that much money fairly easily by doing the Quel'danis dailies and farming ore or herbs. Fel iron sells very nicely on my server, I don't know about yours.

I began fucking with people on the AH at level 40 and made about 2K gold by selling 80s frogs for 100g

bought 3 crafted epics, one of them being a darkmoon card volcano. would be at 100-150k if i didn't buy a bunch of shit but what can you do. i'm transferring soon so i have to spend the last 10-20k before i'm below 50k i'm 85 but at level 70 you can have professions up to 450 (hint hint mysterious fortune cards if you want to go the auction house route)

It's an annoying hump to get over that lasts for 50 points in Blacksmithing, Engineering and Jewelcrafting. Most people just want to get to 68 so they can get the hell out of Outland, so they won't farm like they would in Northrend.

Most need that stuff for levelling professions and L85's will pay 50-100g a stack of thorium up to adamantite because it saves time farming. AH prices are always insane shortly after an XPAC release. Dont buy off the AH, only sell.

Dont buy off the AH, only sell.[/QUOTE] the mat prices are higher than the crafted item for the first month or so, but now the cataclysm ore/herbs/leather is lower priced than what you SHOULD be making for profit. turning a bunch of rare gems into perforators and disenchanting them for heavenly shards is fucking stupid, and obviously there is no profit to use 500g worth of rare gems to get a 40g item in general, buying off the AH when it's worth it is and using those items to make other stuff yields higher profits than farming for 8 hours straight. you can make gold per hour while you're not playing if you don't waste time getting your own mats, but if you farm you HAVE to be farming to make gold.
