Ideacraft: I'm taking a shit and posting minecraft ideas - Games

Get ready for a huge watery dump of ideas for minecraft addon ideas. Trees, trees everywhere. Trees that spread them selfs, giant magic trees that shit mana. First off, there's a shit ton of magic in this idea, and second, you can grow giant trees. The giant trees are made by wattering any given tree constantly and throwing magic at it (The magic I'll get in to soon). The the more water it gets, the bigger it gets. Once it reaches the top of the map, it grows roots. After it grows roots it will slowly start looking for food underground, like ore. The tree will sprout 'fruits' like magic ores or wood depending on what it's eating, more on that later. Now, magic. Magic comes from these giant trees, there's magic with out them, but it's weak. The more giant trees there, the more spells everyone can use and the more powerful magic becomes. Depending on what trees are eating up, they'll make different magic they emmit. If you're in range of a certian tree, you'll get boosts to different schools of magic, like if a tree grew in to a gian lava pool you might get a boost to fire and distruction skills. People can also tie in to a tree to get bonuses from the tree and others tied in to it. If a tree has speed boosting magic then people tied in could move faster and would move faster the bigger group they form. This whole idea is to create an ancor for people to swarm, people will be teaming up to grow trees, build towns around them, go to war over them, etc. I'll post a list of spells and such after I get back to my computer here. Now, plants. Plants and trees will grow on their own depending on how well soil is fetilized and watered. Fertile ratings will depend on how often players kill animals in an area, this will simulate a kind of enviroment. Land can be refertilized by throwing things like eggs, pork, bonemeal and the like. Land can be kept fertile by keeping animal around and keeping it light (To get animals spawning all the time). Fertile land will be normal and grassy with less fertile land having larger and larger patches of dirt. Entirely dead land will turn to sand and start growing leafless whitewood trees. Deadwood zones will spawn out lots of skeletons and try to spread by infecting more land. If deadwood infects a super tree it will turn in to a monster city. The tree will turn white and it's leaves will die off. Thn it will hollow out and spew mobs out of its base. Player made buildings will turn to stone and get over run. If the tree isn't dealt with it will start spewing lava and start turning the local land in to stone and lava. At this point all mobs will become stronger and start attacking player towns and will try to over run them, all while the whitewood tree converts more land in to deadzones. This bit will give every player a main antagonistic force and evil assholes a goal to aspire to. Now I'm taking a shit so I'll leave it at here and re-edit this after I'm back on my computer.

I always think of minecraft ideas while I'm on the shitter; in fact, I'd be surprised if someone DIDNT.

The thought of digging and defecating, how very fascinating.

Also if this has its own thread it'll be easier to save after the fire in my bowels stops. Double also, is there anyone here that does minecraft server mods?

i have a good idea for minecraft they should add guns that would make me buy the game.. a nice big ak47.. yeah.. shooting people's houses down.. that's how you get people to buy your game

Annoying as fuck when you're in the middle of an intense fight. Another thing, I've been pondering the existence of muskets in the game. Not modern weaponry, I mean like arquebusier-esque guns. Long fucking things that do a lot of damage once, but don't fire fast and have fairly cheap ammo.
