Yeah yeah, flame about it being an old game later.
Saw that it looked good and i wanted to buy it, did so, installed it and... what? The sound stutters and the textures look like shit? Where is all this lag coming from?
Any solutions that you may know of will be gracefully accepted.

I doubt you have 5GB RAM.
Also, 9400GT is a very very budget card, i don't even know if it'll run Bioshock.
My card runs Bioshock in Dx 10 beautifully, but i have no sound, then when i switch to XP compaitibility mode, the game laggs, looks like shit, and my sound stutters.

i can play modern warfare 2 on the highest settings with no lag at all using a 9400GT
