Steam has unleashed monster savings on ghoulish (and not so creepy) titles. From now until about the time all the pumpkins are smashed*, over 80 titles (including The Walking Dead, Bioshock, Left 4 Dead, and many more) are available at prices so low, it’s scary. *Discount offers end November 1st at 10am Pacific time Link
-snip- 91 titles are on sale, including Team Fortress 2, Gotham City Impostors and DC Universe Online, which are Free-to-Play. Nothing that I don't already have interests me in price, I'd rather buy hats for now.
dee cayed :v:
got Darkness 2 and Overlord 2!
Holy crap that came from no where
Too many prices and values. Got Overlord 2, both Dead Space's and Atom Zombie Smasher. Shame that it only lasts until November 1st, though. I would've rather waited until a later point in time to make the purchases, with Sandy knocking out my power and all.
Getting Lone Survivor
The walking dead is prolly the best game on that list.
Yes! Halloween seal!

Condemned Criminal Origins was added to Steam specifically for this sale, which is odd. It's a great game though, pick it up for $7.50. It is probably my favorite first person scary game that isn't the Penumbra or Amnesia franchises. It's not that scary but it has a great atmosphere
My girlfriend bought me the Penumbra collection. This night, I am a very happy man.
My girlfriend bought me the Penumbra collection. This night, I am a very happy man.
And then you wake up sober tomorrow and realize you don't have a girlfriend.
I never got past the first Penumbra because I got stuck on a part where I have to fix a pump system and find a code to unlock a gate. Puzzles are just not in my interests at all.
Amnesia just updated? Halloween reasons?
Is FEAR for $2.50 worth it? Or BioShock2 for $5?
Is FEAR for $2.50 worth it? Or BioShock2 for $5?
First FEAR for 2.50 can be quite fun. Bioshock 2 is okay.
Is FEAR for $2.50 worth it? Or BioShock2 for $5?
F.E.A.R. 1 is still an amazing game, it's worth a lot more than $2.50
if you're some idiot who likes decent survival horror like me get Lone Survivor not that scary imo but atmospheric as fuck and has sick tunes
Yesterday I finished Condemned. The gameplay is pretty neat, atmospheric. I wasn't scared, only few moments I was a bit tense because I was expecting a jump scare. But story is just hilarious. I actually laughed a few times, the voice acting helped. To be honest I was slightly disappointed when I learned what the antagonist was, they should have sticked with a bit more realistic approach. Now I'm going to play Penumbra(s).
No discount on Portal 2 :(

Bought FEAR and Plants V. Zombies for me, bought Left 4 Dead 1 & 2, and Killing Floor for my girlfriend. Just when I thought I could go a while without giving Steam more money.
No discount on Portal 2 :(
Because robots and portals are fucking terrifying, amirite?
got at least 6 friends to buy and try Killing Floor, then we all had a blast on servers.
I got Orcs must die, Limbo and Rock of ages from this sale. God the games are so cheap. I got £4 left over and I don't know what to get. I deliberating Dead space 1/2 but I don't know if I will enjoy them. Any suggestions?
