Lan Gaming - Games - Facepunch Forum

A few of my IRL friends and I are planning to hold a LAN sometime soon and we are looking for some good games to play while we are there, any recommendations?

Diablo 2 - the only thing you really need. Swat 4 is also very fun when playing with friends.

Left 4 Dead 1/2, Any Call of Duty, Half-life 2 deathmatch, CS:S. At least we play these games and I tell ya, we have lots of fun.

Borderlands, Arma 1 or 2,CoH, the Battlefield games (used to play BF2 alot at my LANs which was pretty fun).

Supreme Commander + some mods Fun to play, especially when there are 8 players, it's CHAOSS

If your into RTS's then Supreme Commander is pretty epic, also some of the older games too, like Age of Mythology or Company Of Heroes are some I use often.

All C&Cs (as in Command & Conquers. Pity the series died with Renegade), DoW + addons (Not SS), Nexus Jupiter Incident

CoD4 and UT2004, mods for Source like Empires and Hidden are also good.

The usual classic: Counter-Strike. Battlefield II L4D 1/2 Half-Life 2 DM: (Possibly?) Half-Life 2 (Synergy Mod) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. These are the current ones on the top of my head.

Have everyone play some gmod together? Or you try out some of those crazy Doom 1&2 mods. They get pretty crazy.

Alien vs Predator 2 is a really good game and if you play it on a lan in multiplayer it's a lot of fun.
