• Has a video game ever invoked strong emotions in you?

I'm curious, in a ton of games now, there's dramatic scenes and whatnot that are obviously designed to be slightly crushing and heartbreaking (I see you Heavy Rain. I see you right there.) For me, it was actually a lot of Heavy Rain. I happen to have a 10 year old brother named Sean. Imagine that. or games like Amnesia, and Dead Space, have they ever freaked you out so bad you had to rock back and forth, slightly paranoid? Fuck, when I first finished Dead Space, I was slightly paranoid and completely unsettled. Or, has a character or event in a game occured that pissed you off so much you were angry at the characters?:v: Had this in the first dead space. [sp]When Kendra betrays you, I actually just kept thinking over and over "You unbelievable bitch."[/sp] You?
Tales of the Abyss, when the little boy drowned in miasma clinging to his father's corpse, and then you meet his mother later.
When Eli was killed in HL2:EP2, other than that not really.
Braid, that shit's deep.
I cried twice at The World Ends With You.
MGS3 and Heavy Rain. I guess I also felt like the ultimate badass when playing Lords of Shadow.
*Climb a mountain in Minecraft* *Look down at the terrain* A single manly tear was shed.
Dark Void:On the end after killing the boss when you partner gets serious injuried to save you Then she puts at the oter side of the portal and all what you can do is cross the portal while she dies i almost cryed the whole scene
Yeah, my hentai games invoke strong horniness.
At the end of Fallout 3, with Brotherhood [sp]when you purify the water and you can swim in it without getting radiated. All all those hours of avoiding the water, and now I could swim through it safely. That and the fact the Enclave were gone made me extremely happy. Then I never played it again :l[/sp] I actually shed a tear or two, because I'm a wuss.
oops (triple posted, somehow)
oops
Boiling Point made my blood boil with rage at how ripped off I felt for buying a half finished game. That's pretty legit.
The end of fallout 3 always brings a tear to my eye. According to one of my friends, that makes me a faggot. And playing mass effect 1 and 2 for the first time made me feel so god damn awesome, so i guess that counts.
Destroy All Humans! 3. it was so bad it made me cry.
I felt kinda empty after finishing ME2, I mean, the whole game just boils down to that one mission, and the whole second part felt kinda empty too. And then so many died. Wow, I just realize how unfinished ME2 still feels to me. Well I have a second char still waiting to be completed, maybe ima do it some time.
I cried at the end of Mass Effect 2 when cause my actions killed Garrus and Mordin.
Heavy Rain and Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood. The ending in CoJ: BiB... [editline]1st March 2011[/editline] A very underrated game
I cried twice at The World Ends With You.
This. This game had an awesome feel-good ending to it, and I had this amazing aftertaste of awesome even after stepping away from the DS. Before this, I didn't think any game could get me. I was wrong.
Well both Mass Effects have insanely cinematic moments that are just plain awesome. I've always found the Pure Democracy ending of Deus Ex - Invisible War pretty emotional, since you'd effectively just ended all war, poverty, injustice and strife in a single movement. But yeah, Braid takes the cake. Fucking hell.
Like I've said in threads like this multiple times, in Red Dead Redemption when [sp]John Marston is killed.[/sp] I was depressed for about 2 or 3 days after that. I felt amazing though after killing [sp]Ross[/sp], I must've put at least 20 bullets into him.

Heavy Rain, I haven't played it yet.
Every time I play Bad Company 2 I get extremely mad at one point or another, does that count?
Bioshock. [sp]The confrontation with Ryan was just something else. It's one of the reasons I picked games as my primary hobby.[/sp]
battlefield 2142's DRM made me rage hard enough to hurl both of my useless copies across the room.
