I agree but I think it would be appropriate for people who like building castles. Specially the people who build really large scale ones. And I do think the thread for that is quite populated and someone may not come across it.

Ok, anyway, its not much of a castle, but I built four castle spires on four sepearte islands. All of which connect to eachother by bridges, and by a single central island full of creepers, zombies, etc. Each island has its own mine, and tower filled with treasure. The central island is called the hunting grounds and I use it to gather string, and gunpowder.

I made a castle on my schools server (Yes, my schools server. (Just me and my friends) and it was awesome. We made a new map so I don't have it...but I just wanted to share :buddy:
This was only my second world, so theres nothing to spectacular about it.

The area over to the left of the second image ( Right of the first ) was never finished. The whole area was a small group of islands that in flattened and built on one by one.

It took a few people, and a lot of chopping.
Urgh, back in old minecraft days when it was just the original setup, before survival mode, I made this really badass Nazi castle, was pretty massive, had a huge main tower with and secret tunnels and passageways and such. Spent days and days on it two summers ago.
Stopped playing minecraft for several months and my save was deleted.

I made a pretty big castle in the free version of Minecraft before I got the game, I think im gonna have to start a big castle later on. I shall post updates.

Lots of replanting
The only castle I've ever built was on the first Alpha singleplayer map I ever had, built completely legitly. Never completely finished it though.

I tend to prefer building modern city buildings, but if I were to do it again it'd be better.

Made this a while back, these are the only two images I have of it complete. Never got it properly filled on the inside, but outside it looked pretty cool.

Aw man, see, I had this pretty nifty little cliffside castle and I was building a wall for it and everything. Then when Notch migrated the servers, I panicked because I couldn't log on. So I deleted my MC folder. BIG DERP
