I'm sorry, but the news about Star Wars: Battlefront 3, is unclear to me. Is it completely cancelled or is it going to be made by someone else or what? Can I have a straight answer as to if this is being released, if it is, can I have a date please, thanks.

Free Radical has the rights, but wasn't Free Radical bought by Crytek?
I think production is just stalled or delayed. Discontinuing the Franchise is like discontinuing Half Life.
I really hope they do not make another. After Pandemic's demise I doubt too many could create a masterpiece such as a Battlefront game.

I've been playing BF2 all week and I just can't help but nostalgia... I'm really looking forward to a BF3 for me to play, the second one is a masterpiece, and I haven't gotten bored of it yet, but, a BF3, for one of the next gen systems (Please Xbox 360, not that PS3).
I think if they do make it, they are making it so that space and ground battles are merged together as well, that would be sweet.
Why couldn't they do 360 and PS3? They did the Xbox and PS2 for the other two BF's. But still, I don't want them to make a third. It wouldn't be the same.

I'd never thought of it that way, that actually does sound cool.
I think they should model it after the second BF, the gamemodes the same, maybe some more, they should also add more planets and increase the size of conquest. I beat all of the conquest campaigns way too quickly.

BF1 got me started in gaming. I love this series, Even though BF2 sucked, Dann Boeings mods made up for it.

No prone in BF2 ruined sniping. And 90% of online games were FUCKING Hero Battles.

Different maps (THEY DIDN'T HAVE BESPIN PLATFORMS :argh:), you had to get points to use special classes, jedi, improved galactic conquest etc.

There was a video of BF3 leaked onto the net a few months ago after Pandemic got fucked over. I've still got it backed up on my hard drive in case it got deleted from youtube. Go look for it, ill UL it if its gone.

Anyway, BF1 and 2 were both epic, if a BF3 gets made I'll definitely rent it first (new devs, can't blame me) and then buy it. :q:
