First things first, reloading ISN'T a strange habit, nobody cares how or what do you reload and will not care, think of something more original.
Anyways, this is the strange gaming habits thread again, but instead of searching for the old one, why not make a new one just for the sake of it?
Well, I'll start,
I have this urge to like, after beating a game, I want to replay it, but this time I think of another story about it that isn't in the game and just play thinking it's about it, I usually write it in a notepad, full of objectives and such.
What's yers?
FOR FUCKS SAKE IF SOMEONE IGNORES OP AND TRIES TO POST SHIT ABOUT RELOADING, IT'S NOT OK IF YOU TELL THE SAME STORY ABOUT RELOADING AND FEEL GOOD FOR YOURSELF.
Jumping. Constantly. Everywhere.
Seriously if the game has a jump button I can't got more than 5 seconds with out subconcoiusly pressing it.
I always have to beat the shit out of ragdolls if possible and make them fall off high places
Inb4 reloading all the time.
In single player RTS I try to keep my units who do badass shit alive, or keep them as my elite forces.
Once, I had about 15 elite GIs in RA2. (this was against computer opponents) and I spent ages levelling up the black hawk helicopters, and had an elite crew of 3 elite helicopters that tore up infantry while the GI's basically killed the fuck out of anything that moved, and I had crazy ass guerilla missions and it was awesome.
Cheating
It's a sad truth :(

Whenever i try out a new fps, after i kill the first enemy I bend over his dead corpse and pump another round into his head to see if the game's dead ragdolls have blood effects.
Throw a grenade if i encounter an enemy.

Killing the good guys
I always kill the good guys, but only in a game like halo, because it doesn't stuff up the mission
After moving the mouse I always subconsiously centre it back on the mouse pad (lifting it and moving it it). I have no idea why.
If I'm bored I sometimes make my own headbobs. :c
Scaring my teammates, like going up behind one in 2142 and knifing. They always think there is someone trying to kill them and spin around, makes me laugh :v:
I always tea-bag dead people, i dont know why.
Also making sure i don't waste anything.
In L4D2, if i have a molotov and i see another one on the ground, i go to the nearest zombie patch, throw it, then get the molotov that i saw on the ground.
shouting boom headshot when I get a headshot and leaning closer into the screen as the action gets more intense. Also when approaching a corner of a building I lean to the side of my screen to try and see around it

I do that in Cortex Command.
Soldiers who've gotten tons of kills or lived through something special I save, I even make an underground bunker for them. :v:
In any RTS I get loads of troops and charge all at once, I just can't help it.

Once I had a guy who walked on a flat surface without his legs breaking.
Hall of famed that motherfucker.
I try in single player games to not kill people who don't need to be killed.

I just put a Heavy Coalition Soldier on a lookout with a Heavy Sniper Rifle
Beats everything. Even dropships.
In RTSs I usually just train (or build, whatever works) a shit load of one type of unit, then swarm the enemy with them. Even if they're just like conscripts in ra3. I dunno if that's actually strange.
In Sims 2 I'll spend maybe 30 minutes to an hour designing a character, then I'll put them in a house, quit and never play them again.

I even do this in multiplayer.
I imagine weird back-stories for games that have absolutely nothing to do with the actual plot of the game. For example I tend to fly IL-2 missions that only consist of my plane and enemy AAA and I time myself how long I will last without being blown up. The back-story is that there is a competition for pilots, and if they last long enough they get a lot of money.
I also sometimes control the mouse with my foot, usually while browsing (not gaming related I know).

Until one pixel from a dropship hits your guy and his weapon falls apart. :v:
These are mostly ones that I directly control for a while, or ones that suicide bomb a dropship and live.
If the weapon I have has full ammo and I find more ammo for that weapon, I always fire off a few rounds, then reload, just so I could pick up that ammo.
Whenever I have a gun, if the ammo in reserve isn't a factor of that number, I change it. For example, if I have an M16 with 30 bullets in the mag and 580 rounds in reserve, I fire off ten bullets so that it'll be 30 bullets to 570 in reserve.
I also get pissed off when I die in ANY game. I have a short temper; that might contribute to it, right?
If I know a gun has infinite ammo, I shoot everything and everywhere with it.
Always reload to maximum ammunition.
Always try to sneak up on people or hide, never go Rambo.
