I have CS:S but not CS:GO. I want to hear some opinions on them both. Don't make retarded invalid crap statements. go
I prefer CS:GO. *insert invalid crap statement here, fight me*
I prefer CS:GO. *insert invalid crap statement here, fight me*
Yeah, but why? Is it better or what?
Its graphical better than CS:S and for me it quite more fun. I don't know why. Just try it, you cant do anything wrong with 15€.
Alright, I will try it out then.

I have the same questions as OP. I've heard some people say it's nothing but graphics update, and a couple of new textures. On the other hand, some people say maps look great, more weapons and stuff. Thoughts?

Also mostly all people on servers are nice :)
It's exceptionally prettier at everything, even animations got better. MUCH better, more balance and ends up being a lot of fun with or without its new gamemodes. The problems with it right now is that content for it is being released at sort of snail pace... It still doesn't has all the maps in the original games, although it has a few new ones... The system to make custom content (or the file system it's in, confirmation please?) makes it a bit hard to make custom stuff for the game Still not pretty big among the CS community, maybe due to lack of a few components present in past games that were removed due to strange reasons like silencers and maybe not enough custom content like func_vehicles which at least here in FP seems to be the ""zombie mode" famous mode" of counter strike, or in other words, the most wanted mode ever. I hope this eventually gets played as much as CS:S, hopefully even 1.6 and gets as much custom content, which imo makes it worth buying. A question though, the zombie mode... Was it gonna be an official mode, or just supported by valve and still like a 3rd party map on a random server, or what?...
Valve supported them, but the server is from the mode devs.
One of the best parts about CS:GO is the fact that you hit enter 3 times after launching the game and you're ingame (or queueing for competetive).
I personally like CS:GO much more than CS:S, it just feels a lot smoother and nicer, as well as looking much better.
CS:GO is harder to customize and has less custom content than CSS
CS:S if you want custom content and sprays CS:GO if you want professionalism and prettiness with the lack of custom content
There's a lot of aesthetic differences, but if you look at just the gameplay, it has barely changed.
dynamic lighting hngg
Both are great but I would choose NOW CS:S since GO is just at the beggining and I'm expecting it getting more custom gamemodes and maps.
I love CS:GO because compared to CS:S i'm actually capable of killing someone without a person jumping around the corner to instantly headshot me with a deagle. The skill levels between CS:S & CS:GO also has a major difference, not many of the hardcore and veteren players of CS:S made the switch over to CS:GO while most of them where in during the beta they mainly disliked the heavy nerfs that took place to weapons such as the AWP, which I was happy to see as well. CS:GO also has far better hit register detection in comparsion to CS:S, theres a lot less random headshots that occure now but it still happens from time to time.
