Hurr I'm funny cause I can post a picture of a shit game.
Why does it have a 8800gt around this time? Anyway your PC is close to the performance of mine, and I can run Crysis on medium/high.

Dunno I've had it for a while now and it's pretty good so no point getting rid of it.... not the best cards but still good, also can you run GTAIV? [editline]12:16PM[/editline] Well I'll try and get them on my birthday or something which is february 1st.
You should upgrade your graphics as soon as you can. High/medium, that's still pretty good though right?, even with the 8800gt
Doubt you could run GTA IV on high/medium. Got a Q6600, 4gb and an 8800GT and I barely get 30 FPS on low/medium but GTA IV would still run nonetheless

A dual core will run the game, but it's 4 cores or higher if you want some real performance. Oh and the 8800GT is really not a performance card compared to todays standards.
Left 4 Dead 2 Gears of War Battleforge The Chronicles of Riddick - Assault on Dark Athena Burnout Paradise
I play all these games on a 2600 HD and phenom x3 2.1 GHz.

Hope they didn't pay much for that, since I made a similar machine a year ago for 300€.
I don't grow money you know....
I don't grow money you know....
Well I didn't know you were a tree.
I would have saved up until I had enough money though. Around 1000$ should be great for a good gaming computer, even if it was five years later. Well you can always boost your performance with another 8800GT later, if your mobo supports it. It's a great card.
What you said obviously didn't work to what I just said. I said I don't grow money...not that I did. oops wasn't aimed at you Zezibesh. [editline]02:11PM[/editline] Well my birthday is february 1st so it's close by
Well I didn't know you were a tree.
Ha, nice one :v: OP, those are not the best specs. And you can expect your computer to "date" with the newest games within 2 years, maybe less (meaning you can't run them anymore). Also, GTA IV will not run on high I can guarantee you that. My phenom 9950x4 @2.6 with 4GB ram and 9800GTX+ can only run it on medium.
well i said medium or high is fine...
well i said medium or high is fine...
You'll be doing medium at a frame rate of roughly 30-40 fps on GTA IV. Roughly If you can, could you post a link to the prebuilt computer you are getting? Knowing what kind of mobo is in it would be nice to recommend upgrades... Edit: Srsly, though, get a job and buy yourself something decent. If you don't have to pay any expenses, minimum wage can add up fairly quickly.
that's fine.
