Should I get Dawn Of War or wait for the christmas sale for DoW2?

Hello there facepunchians. So this is what is comes down to, I have a $25 visa gift card and want to get a dawn of war game. I was wondering if I should get Dawn of War: Gold, or wait for the christmas sale on steam to see if I can afford the second one. I like the base building aspect of the first one but I also love the second one. What should I do?

If you're willing to eventually buy all the expansions for the first one, I'd recommend it. It's way better than the second in my opinion due to the ability to build your base.
