I recently got Borderlands for STEAM, it's a really great game, but I'm getting bored with it. I've noticed several save editors out there- I'd like to use some... but none of them work with the STEAM version, due to the fact that the save files that are normally accessible with the disc retail version are unreachable through the STEAM version, probably because the save data is stored in the steam cloud(?).
I'm not sure about that, but does anyone know how to get to the save files, or have any save editor programs that work with the STEAM version?...
Your saves are in Documents>My Games>Borderlands.
I have the Steam version and it works with WillowTree.
Careful with one of the betas for Willowtree. It corrupted both my friend and I's save file.
Just back be sure to back up your save before you do anything.
