Well, recently just found that I still had Fahrenheit installed, though I've already beaten it, it got me again. So, I'm playng through it again and while I'm doing so, I asked myself if there are any games like it.
Heavy Rain, when it comes out.
Indeed, heavy rain.
Hm, Dreamfall also came to my mind. Is it any good?
Am I the only one who noticed that someone makes a thread about an obscure game or genre at the same time that a thread about the exact same game or genre is active?
Well I'm sorry, I'm not really into newer games, since my computer isn't able to run most of these. And I haven't heard yet from Heavy Rain.
Shame Heavy Rain is only coming out on PS3 in February of next year
And is one of the the only reasons I am getting a PS3
I only found out about Fahrenheit the other day and :iia:

Too bad the PC version is a raging torrent of bugs.
Is it worth playing Fahrenheit on PC? I have a gamepad so controls aren't a problem. I heard beginning half is amazing while the second half is total shit, yet people still love it.
It depends. The story does make an insane twist in the other half. I liked all of it except of [sp]the "metal gear" part. Sneaking around that hangar was a bitch.[/sp]

As long as it's been updated since I last played it, which I doubt. There was a game-breaking bug about 2/3 of the way through where you would freeze up for a split second and miss an action moment. Couldn't get past it.
There is a patch out for it.

I loved all of it, and is not really the second half, things just get out of control close to the end, in the part [sp]You go rescue your girlfriend from the villain in a amusement park[/sp] but then the bad guy [sp]kills you[/sp].
The main problem is that [sp] you return in the form of a super zombie robot pirate jesus with matrix superpowers[/sp] so that part was kinda of what the fuck.
But the game and the plot is superb, though i never played on the PC, only on the PS2.
You may want to try out Dreamfall, if you liked Indigo Phophecy. You play a chick in that though, so you must be secure about your sexuality.
