I've been fascinated by Airships (zeppelin kind, not the non-rigid goodyear blimp kind) for a long time, and I've always wanted to fly one. Seeing as I don't have the money for a pilot's license, Airship certification, and an Airship, is there a free or cheap Airship flight sim out there?
I know there's downloadable airships for FS2004, but I'd rather have a dedicated game, seeing as how they still handle like airplanes.
I've never heard of such a Simulator myself, nor ever thought about one.

They are fairly complex to fly, and usually require a ground crew to land, but I still think it'd be fun (says the guy who likes model trains and train simulator) especially if you could peek out windows and such, see the landscape as you hover over.
Flightgear is free and you can download zeppelins and stuff.

But I doubt that the whole thing with the airships is too complex

The complexity comes from the fact that on a real airship you need to keep it bouyant through the whole flight, and adjust pressure in the gasbags to compensate for atmospheric pressure.
Thanks though, I forgot about flight gear.
