Can't come up with anything to give your best friend this x-mas? Well, here are some nifty gift cards I made! Just print -em out, fill your name in, glue the front and back together and ask your friend what he/she wants after he/she has seen the card and maybe given you a hug. First in dollars: Then in euros: Then let's just follow the same pattern: Good luck!
This would be good if they were actually in real life, available in a shop. But good try anyway
Nifty idea, email Valve about this posthaste.

wait hold on
These are so great they have a grammar mistake!
I never understood the concept of a gift card, it's so much more convenient to have cash. You're only able to use a gift card in a single place, cash can be used anywhere.
Have fun trying to buy something online using cash.
As windwakr said, Visa gift cards. Or have awesome parents that take your cash and just deposit an equal amount into your checking account so you can just use debit :v:
Have fun trying to buy something online using cash.
It's called a bank account?
Atleast a different skin, the default Steam skin is rather boring.
They're made to be printed out!
Regardless, you would have to sit by them and watch as they painstakingly pick out 50$ of games and then you pay for them with your bank account. Hopelessly inelegant unless Valve implements this feature and releases their own string of gift cards, which render yours useless. And what's the use of a button on a piece of bloody paper anyway? You meant well, but they're pretty useless.

I still like cash better.
You seem to have forgotten most Facepunchers are british. Where's the pound?!
Sorry! If you really want a version with pounds I'll make one. It'll have a space between "of" and "your"!
FUCK YEAR, Now I can get HL2 or its episodes or CS:S or even TF2 without it going past the parental scanner! EDIT: [offtopic] Apparently you can rate your own posts. [/offtopic]
Translation: I don't have a credit/debit card and my parents don't like to buy online products
Nice massive assumption there. He's right, this would be incredibly convenient if you could buy them in stores. I've got relatives who usually end up buying me gift cards to Amazon or Gamestop, I'd much rather have a Steam gift card.

And here I was thinking Steam had actually started doing giftcards. T_T
Berb grabbin' a (c), (tm) and (r) for these babies...
If Habbo fucking Hotel has giftcards, Valve should have gift cards. I can tell my mother to go to a store and pick up a gift card for christmas/birthday instead of worrying that she got the damned Xbox version again.
I actually received a Visa gift card. Very nice. Bought some Steam games and stuff of Amazon. Much better than regular gift cards, considering they can be used anywhere. The one downside is that they charge a fee for the person buying the gift card, but that's because they have to activate it. Its a very slick system I'll tell you what.
