Gabe Newell asked about CS2, doesn't mention HL2: Episode 3 - Games

I stopped caring about Episode 3. It isn't worth the wait anymore, in my opinion. I'll just treat it like any other game these days.

It would be nice to have some information on EP3, but then again, I doubt they have even started making it.

Honestly I'm still hyped as hell, but I've stopped worrying about when it will actually be released. So I agree Though I also have a hunch that Episode 3 won't cut it for them. Maybe they have something in mind to actually move on with Half-life, and maybe EP3 is just the start of it! To be honest I have a feeling that they are going to scrap Ep3 and just do Half Life 3, built on a revamped Source, or possibly a new engine, and maybe ship CS2 along with it. But that is me being optimistic.
