Industrial/Remix Hero - or the "plastic controler music game id be willing to play"

I came up with idea because upon reflecting on many music games it takes a big portion out of what makes music, music. Innovation and spontaneous ideas are key to creation to most music so how could we express that simply in a game without going fullout creating new music. Well remixs would take this concept and utilize it perfectly. We saw some of it in Dj hero but they were all prewrittin remixes. Besides the market is showing a slow decline of interest in music games meaning you have to do something moderately new.

It would be taking all the instruments(dj controler included) of the past games and including them into a genera id actually have fun with. It's like all the other games where staying on beat is key but with one major twist, somebody is working the mixer. What this means that whoever it is working the mixer unit or controller takes the prewrittin notes and feeds them to the other players based on what sounds good to them or makes a good combination of que's to rack up more points. So it adds a 3rd wheel where you could control say for example how the tide of a point battle between 2 of your friends might go. With the cueing function you could also re cue while someone is playing, a series of loops so it can surprise the player playing and cause a definite electro feel to the song. So the mixer could have the drumer play the first 4 notes of a 16 beat series several times in a row. As for the kind of music in the game I believe Industrial would take great great advantage of the new dynamics and all the old instruments of the past games.

Gameplay wise I think it could work in several modes one where you dynamically make playlists/songs, which would work well with friends or prewritten Dubs/remixes if you want to use the mixer by itself.

I think if executed correctly it could provide alot of possibility for creativity in genera's which are often quite hard to start into. Also gameplay wise could create alot of possibilities like making playlist of a remixed song and submitting them online on a leader board, so it could be rated or played by other people. I think it that would be a simpler and better expansion on the whole create a song function in past games. Sounds fun to me what do you think of it?
