One day i opened my launcher and it wouldn't connect, so i waited till the morning and still didn't work for a week i can't connect to minecraft.net or the forums, but i can access then Via Proxy or the family PC downstairs, whats going on??

I found the solution, Was blocked in HOSTS file
I didn't bother saying anything because I honestly thought you would have checked your hosts file, having been successful with a proxy.
I want to assume intelligence in people, but...
