I recently downloded the Halflife uplink addon and just now got up to where what's normally the demo begins (in the add-on you teleport here), but for some reason the elevator is busted. For starters the elevator for uplink's chapter is already there, the doors are open, and the up button doesn't work.
The addon places the Uplink demo right into the main game during the part where you're trying to figure out the teleporters and one of them has a map change.
To make matters worse, the elevator has the map change in it. Tagged to the up button.
Edit: The version of Half-life that has the addon is the Goldsrc version.
Maybe that's not where you're supposed to go?
You ever Play the Uplink demo on it's own? That elevator is the only place I can go and the door out of Uplink's first room is locked shut.
Las I knew the Barny in the room was suppose to open the elevator useing the keypad next to it and I'd ride the elevator up.
This video shows what is suppose to happen. I just happen to be stuck in that room near the begining.
