Hey yesterday I upgraded to Windows 7.
I bought Morrowind around 4 days ago when I was still on Vista and it doesn't work even when upgrading to Windows 7, and when I try play it, when it passes the loading screen and is about to launch the main menu, it freezes, and I have to press the WINDOWS key to get out of it. Then I see the error message saying that it cannot play the file Data Files/ Music/ Special/ morrowind theme.
I was told to download a Windows 7 codec pack, which I did, I have set WMP to my main player and still nothing. If this doesn't work am I entitled to getting my money back?
Doubt you'd get your money back if you asked for it.
Well if it isn't going to work on Windows 7 they should have a compatability warning or something? I have tried a reinstall and it still doesn't work.
Morrowind works fine for me on Windows 7, though I have the CD version.
Yeah I have the CD version too and I remember it working.
